The founding team has a combined 25 years of experience in lithium battery production, material science, engineering, and investment banking across Africa, Europe and the world. Across the team, we have lithium battery application and development expertise as well as four registered, and counting, globally recognized patent applications in lithium battery use.

Our first factory in Kenya is well suited to producing battery cells due to Kenya's highly renewable electricity generation that will minimize our own GHG footprint and those of the batteries we shall produce, her strategic location in East and Central Africa, and finally her Pro-investment policy through Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and preferential trade agreements. Registering our factory for the rules of origin shall further allow us to issue a Certificate of Origin (COO) for our export clients to leverage the incentives offered by various trade agreements across the globe, including EAC (East African Community), COMESA (Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa), AfCFTA (African Continental Free Trade Area), EUR1 (for exports to European Union countries), and GSP (Generalized System of Preferences).
